Spent the night in a pretty area outside a housing development nea rexford. Recent burn had cleared the understory except for grasses and wild flowers.
I think lake Koocanusa is kind of ugly though. I don’t go for huge man made lakes  with variable water levels. They always have a big ugly ring of bare earth around them. Not pretty.
